Tammi has developed a niche representation of Millennial and Gen X first time and move up buyers. As the aunt to Gen Xers and the mother of a Millennial, Tammi has a great understanding of the lifestyle wants and needs that drive these buyer groups. And as a fourth generation Washingtonian, Tammi has a deep affinity for and knowledge of our region. This has proven to be particularly helpful with individuals and families new to the area.
Tammi personally previews properties of interest, saving her clients’ time and trouble. Using her deep, local connections, Tammi is able to arrange for contractors to meet her clients at homes they are considering to provide construction opinions and costing estimates for work required immediately or desired for the future. This is invaluable in helping her clients make informed decisions about the properties they wish to purchase.
For the properties Tammi listed in 2016, they were active for an average of just 18 days before receiving ratified contracts. In many cases, Tammi’s clients received multiple offers and contracts for above the listed price. Tammi has a keen sense of what the buyer public wants and works closely with her sellers to achieve that look and feel. Tammi has hosted exclusive neighbor open houses in advance of public opens to create buzz in the neighborhood. Her open house experiences are inviting and warm. Tammi knows the neighborhoods thoroughly and provides thoughtful information to all open house visitors.
Before joining McEnearney, Tammi had a long, distinguished career in law firm management and served as the Director of Administration for Washington’s largest law firm. While there, Tammi was a key member of the team responsible for negotiating one of the city’s most celebrated real estate deals, the firm’s relocation to CityCenterDC. In 2012 this deal was awarded “The DC Leasing Transaction of the Year” by the Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association of Greater DC.
From expertly managing the daily workflow for a 1,000 person law office to organizing a Presidential Inaugural event for 800 clients, Tammi delights in getting the job done and in exceeding client expectations. Using her innate combination of people skills and common sense, Tammi has gained a reputation as a consensus builder and problem solver. Under the most challenging circumstances, Tammi works with the utmost diplomacy and tact to ensure the very best outcome for her clients.
In her free time, Tammi’s interests include indulging in her love of cooking and interior design. She also volunteers at her neighborhood elementary school. Tammi and her husband, Charlie, enjoy spending time at their home on the Eastern Shore with family and friends and visits to Ireland where their daughter, Annie, is studying for her Master’s Degree at University College Cork.
